History

Dushanbe Television was created on the basis of the decision of the Chairman of the city of Dushanbe Rustam Emomali dated September 6, 2006 No. 409 as a political, economic, scientific, cultural and administrative center of the country in order to provide a full-fledged information space of the capital, free and open discussion of public events, objective coverage of the activities of bodies state power.

Based on this decision, the Charter of the institution was also approved.

Based on the decision of the Chairman of the city of Dushanbe Rustam Emomali dated March 28, 2017 No. 133 "On amendments to the resolution of the Mayor of the city of Dushanbe" dated September 6, 2006 No. 409 "in accordance with articles 19 and 20 of the Constitutional Law of the Republic of Tajikistan "On local authorities" , Articles 8, 26 and 27 of the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan "On State Registration of Legal Entities and Individual Entrepreneurs" and Article 51 of the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan "On Regulatory Legal Acts" in the title, text and appendix to the Decree of the Mayor of Dushanbe dated September 6, 2006 No. 409 “On the establishment of the state institution “Poytakht Television” the word “Poytakht” was replaced by the word “Dushanbe” and the necessary changes were made to the round seal, coins and constituent documents of the Institution.

Based on the decision of the Chairman of the city of Dushanbe Rustam Emomali dated February 24, 2020 No. 122 “On amendments to the resolution of the Akim of the city of Dushanbe dated February 5, 2013 No. 29 “On approval of the list of work shifts, the salary of the fund, the amount of the monthly salary of the management, members of the board and The regulation on bonuses for the management and employees of the State Institution "Dushanbe Television" of the executive body of state power of the city of Dushanbe was increased from 50 to 85 units.

The founder and financier of the State Institution "Dushanbe Television" is the executive body of state power of the city of Dushanbe.

The institution consists of the information and analytical programs department, the cultural and entertainment department, the operations department, the accounting department, the technical department, the camera department, the mobile studios department and the service department.

TV Dushanbe has been broadcasting in high quality HD since February 2017, and about 87% of TV viewers in the country and abroad can watch its programs.

From August 8, 2019, the TV Dushanbe program will be aired from 12:00 to 18:00 and will be broadcast via satellite around the world.

In accordance with the resolution of the chairman of the city of Dushanbe dated January 13, 2017 No. 5 Raufzoda Sukhrob Kholmurod, until July 7, 2021, he acted as director of the Dushanbe Television Enterprise.

In accordance with the resolution of the chairman of the city of Dushanbe dated July 7, 2021 No. 406, Okilov Marufjon Kholnazarovich is still the director of Dushanbe Television.
